JAM outreach

I thought I would post some pictures from our Christmas Jam that we had from church. We went to a local area where poverty is for sure known. These kids that live here are brought in on Wednesday nights for service for Youth and Kids classes. They are awesome kids! We had a wonderful time just being with them. Please remember to pray for the less fortunate... some of these kids are going thru stuff that No One should ever go thru.... especially as a child.

This is sweet little Jacinda... she was helping me with an object lesson on being wrapped up too much in the material part of christmas. She was trying to pick up a simple heart that said Jesus... but she was weighted down too much of STUFF!

This is Blake. He takes care of all of his little brothers and sisters so wonderfully, he is a 12 year old with more responsibilities than most adults I know and he never complains.


This is Corinne, every single Wednesday when the bus pulls up to the church... Corinne comes running and yelling my name and then gives me a Giant Hug... every single time... no matter what. (This is why I am so thankful for my Job)

Taking Time....

Seems like I have a THOUSAND things going on in my head lately...with all the Christmas plays at church (kids church and daycare) I feel like my head is spinning. I am beginning to not sleep very good at night, waking up thinking about this and about that. Talking to a friend online (a.k.a Mrs. Perry) at 11:30ish at night seeing that I am not the only one out there in the world who has issues. Seems to me that I have been in alittle too much "control" lately. The Holy Spirit reminded me today... while doing a lesson in kids church (which usually happens... I think I have a lesson for the kids and God lets me know that.... uh no that is for YOU!) anyways it was about feeding our spirit and reading Gods word more. Something this afternoon stirred in me. I have been carrying all this worry for NOTHING!!! Why can't I listen to my spirit dude more??? Lord... lead me where I need to go, what I need to say and for the love of you....lol... HELP me with this Life of mine and let my light Shine!!!!

Who's this guy with our little Girl???

Well our Meagan has been bitten by the Love Bug!! We seen it coming and yes it has happened. Meagan has been friends with Nathan for awhile now... and now it has turned into more than friends. He is one of our teen helpers in Kids Church and just one day Meagan says to me "Mom... have you ever realized how cute Nathan D's is??" and my reply was "uhhh no" And then I seen it.. that look in her eye that I remember having so long ago. Is this just a passing "crush" or "puppy love" could be. But could he also be "the one"? Will they last 3 months or 3 years or forever? Who knows. I told Meagan to just enjoy her life and don't change who she is for anyone. I have been praying for God to send Meagan a Godly christian man for many years now and I know he is faithful to a mamas prayer. I must admit.. we do love the guy and his family is awesome! Meagan is beginning to make real choices on her own and she is doing a great job at it! I want her to always know we will be there for her no matter what happens in life. Our prayer is that she will stay forever in Gods will and know that he will never let her down... We love you Meg and we are so proud of you!!

This song means so much to me... I was having a long night about 3 weeks back when all I could think about was bills due, how were we going to make it. Why was all this worry bombarding my mind so heavy. I had prayed and prayed with no answers in sight... although I always knew that I knew that things were going to be o.k. It was late in the night around 2:00 or so when I was using the Tv to just dull my thinking and trying to fall asleep, when I thought I would just put on some music from one of the christian cable channels. I felt so alone and I asked God.. why can't I feel your presence anymore... why? Please just let me know that you even hear me... so I sat there crying for awhile.. thinking that if I could know that God heard my prayers... all in all my faith was being tested. I told God "I trust you with everything, no matter what. I will never stop serving you ever. And that's when it happened.. this song came on!! WOW I had never heard it before at all... God is so good!!! It was like this wind just came roaring in that room with me. Words could never explain it. Now this song is making to top of the christian charts!!! His love is never unfailing. To this day... my hubby just started a new job so now we will be able to move ahead and he can quit his night job at walmart!! I love you God and I will give you GLORY always! Trust is always the answer.

What is going on with the Fredericks?

Busy Busy Busy... to say the least. Seems like this crazy life is moving by so fast that we can't even sit down to enjoy it. We have been thru so much these past months... with Dales job situation and losing half of our income, to Dale having to work not only full time all day but get a part time night job that seemed unreal at times. BUT the most important of these trials was just that... they were trials. Not once did we doubt God was in control of it all. We learned some very valuable lessons during this time. Like how much we took for granted and how much we just needed eachother. I could tell you all the details on everything that happened, but I would literally be here all day long typing! :) To make a long story short... God is Good.. and always we will praise him no matter the circumstances. He is ever faithful if we just have faith and Trust in him.
